Kokusai Dori

The Lively Main Street of Naha

Nicknamed the “Miracle Mile,” Kokusai Dori (国際通り) stretches for about 1.6 kilometers through central Naha. Once rebuilt after WWII, it quickly became Okinawa’s busiest shopping and entertainment street. Today, it’s the best place to experience Okinawa’s urban energy, with everything from souvenir shops and izakaya pubs to live music venues and markets hidden down side streets.
