Farm Tomita

Flower Land Kamifurano

A beautiful flower park located in the Kamifurano area of Furano. Spanning over 10 hectares (25 acres), it features expansive flower fields with vibrant seasonal blooms, including sunflowers, lavender, and poppies.

The park is known for its stunning views of the Tokachi Mountains and offers activities like tractor rides, flower picking, and photography opportunities. In summer, the landscape is transformed into a sea of colorful flowers, while in winter, the area offers a serene snow-covered retreat.

Furano Cheese Factory

Learn about cheese production, taste local cheeses, and even try making your own cheese or ice cream. Visitors can observe the cheesemaking process through large glass windows in the factory.

The facility also features a pizza workshop and a shop selling dairy products made from local milk. The surrounding area includes a small animal farm where kids can interact with goats and sheep.

Furano Wine Factory

Sample locally produced wines and enjoy breathtaking views of the vineyards and surrounding mountains. Guided tours offer insights into the winemaking process, and there’s a tasting room for trying various wine selections. The facility, also known as Chateau Furano, features a terrace where visitors can relax with a glass of wine while admiring the sunset. A small shop on-site sells exclusive wines and related products, making it easy to bring a piece of Furano home.

Blue Pond (Aoiike)

A striking blue pond located near Biei, a short drive from Furano. The surreal blue hue of the water is caused by natural minerals, creating a magical, otherworldly appearance. Surrounding birch trees and their reflections enhance the tranquil beauty of the pond. It’s a must-visit destination for photographers and nature lovers alike.
